Curt G. Joa, Inc. Awards First Annual Engineering Scholarships

Scholarship4 Last night, Curt G. Joa, Inc. awarded the first of two engineering scholarships made available to Sheboygan County seniors pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering. The $2,500 scholarship includes a paid internship at Curt G. Joa, Inc. following the completion of the student’s freshman year of college.

Curt G. Joa, Inc. Files Inter Partes Review against Fameccanica Data SpA

Sheboygan Falls, WI (April 26, 2016) – Earlier this month Curt G. Joa, Inc. filed an inter partes review proceeding against Fameccanica Data, SpA to invalidate a patent owned by Fameccanica. The case, filed in the United States Patent and Trademark Office, Patent Trial and Appeal Board asserts invalidity of United States Patent No. 6,994,761, entitled “Disposable Absorbent Garment such as a diaper or training pants and a process of making the same.” This proceeding follows another attack on Fameccanica’s European Patent (UK) no 1355604 with the same title.

Curt G. Joa, Inc. Continues Tradition of Protecting Patent Rights

Sheboygan Falls, WI (April 21, 2016) – Curt G. Joa, Inc. filed and served a lawsuit against Fameccanica Data, SpA to invalidate a patent owned by Fameccanica. The case, filed in the United Kingdom High Court of Justice Intellectual Property Enterprise Court (Case No. IP – 2015 – 000205) alleges invalidity of European Patent (UK) number 1355604 entitled “Disposable Absorbent Garment such as a diaper or training pants and a process of making the same.”
